Zbyszek Dymarski – deputy editor-in-chief “Karto-Teka Gdańska”.
He is a graduate of Technical University of Gdańsk (electronics), Pontifical University of John Paul II (philosophy) and Higher School of Social Communication in Gdynia. He is an assistant professor in the Institute of Culture Research at the University of Gdańsk. He conducts research in a field of philosophical anthropology, anthropology of religion, philosophy of religion and anthropology of city. He also deals with the philosophical aspects of films.
He runs a Research group of Philosophy and Anthropology of European City and is a president of the Pomeranian Philosophical-Theological Society. He is also a member of the board of the Sopot Foundation for Interdisciplinary Research.
He has published books “Two voices about evil. From a study on Józef Tischner’s and Leszek Kołakowski’s thoughts” (2009) and (as a scientific editor) “Man and City. Gdansk Citizens Between New and Old Identity” (2017) and “Man and City. Gdansk and Another Spaces” (2021). He has also published many articles and reviews.
